The Senior Campus is an integral part of Great Lakes College, a multi-campus collegiate comprising two 7-10 campuses and the Senior Campus. It has an enrolment of approximately 450 students in Stage 6 (Years 11 and 12). The campus offers a high-quality education in an adult learning and working environment, providing students with the opportunity to achieve their HSC while gaining many skills relevant to further study and the workforce. The campus takes advantage of the large college structure to provide a wide curriculum, with many productive pathways for students to the HSC while capitalising on the advantages of the small campus structure to ensure the learning needs of each student are identified and addressed individually.
The campus provides a very strong academic pathway to the HSC, achieving excellent results while sustaining a rich offering of school-delivered vocational options for students. The campus also shares the site with Great Lakes TAFE, providing great flexibility for TAFE-delivered vocational opportunities within their curriculum pattern. The Senior Campus also enjoys strong partnerships with a number of universities.
