The Collection

The Library Collection caters for the needs of Senior students educational and leisure needs.

The latest study guides, workbooks, reference material, Non-fiction and Young Adult Fiction that supports the curriculum is constantly sourced to engage and support the particular needs of students in Year 11 and Year 12.

The Digital Collection of resources available is run through our Staff and student portal. Staff and students can log into the school portal and go to the application “My School Library”.

We subscribe to a range of research tools such as GALE Virtual Reference Library and GALE student Resources in Context.

Sydney Morning Herald Online has the Latest news and articles.

TV4Education is the biggest educational video library and streaming service available to schools. They also have the biggest range of educational channels, sources and learning tools like engagement reporting, digital lessons and video lessons.

Students of Great Lakes College Senior Campus also have access to the Virtual Library which has helpful hints and tips on researching, Referencing, note taking and studying.

All students are encouraged to join the State Library and our local library, Mid Coast Library.

Where they will have access to Digital resources a tuned to the needs of senior students such as Ebsco academic databases.
