Course Description:
Students study one mandatory module – Achieving through English: English in education, work and community and an additional 2 modules, which all have mandatory coursework, homework and assessment tasks. Students may elect to undertake an optional HSC examination if this is the only CAT B course chosen. The examination mark will be used by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) to contribute to the student’s Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR). Students who do not sit for the English Studies HSC examination are not eligible for the calculation of an ATAR.
