Course Description:

Students investigate the science and technology of textiles through a study of properties and performance, allowing them to make informed consumer choices in the textiles area.

Students investigate the significance of different cultural uses of textiles and develop an understanding of how textiles are used in industry, culminating in the manufacture of a Major Textiles Project.
